The REAG Soil Life Conference and Exhibition is a unique conference series in Central Europe, organised by the Soil Renewal Farmers' Association (TMG Association), which focuses on practical and scientific issues of regenerative agriculture. The acronym REAG stands for regenerative agriculture, short for soil regeneration agriculture.
Each year, the event features inspiring presentations from successful practising farmers, pioneering researchers and national and international experts in soil regeneration. The conference will be complemented by a large-scale machinery exhibition where participants will be able to see state-of-the-art solutions for regenerative farming.
TMG Association was founded by enthusiastic farmers who believe that soil conservation is the key to our future.
Since 2018, we are an official association. Our members are diverse: small and large farmers, organic farmers and conventional producers, all of whom now believe in supporting soil life rather than ploughing. We learn together, exchange experiences and help each other to grow.
Our common goal is to help as many farmers as possible to abandon tillage and regenerate their soil.
After nearly ten years of working together and gathering experience, we are confident that regenerative agriculture offers a real, profitable and sustainable alternative to environmentally destructive practices. As farming conditions and the state of nature deteriorate, more and more people are looking for new solutions. As credible, productive farmers, we want to show that without healthy soil there is no healthy food - and no healthy society.
The aim of the conference is to introduce more farmers to the possibilities of no-till farming, both in theory and in practice. Because in today's world it is not only a choice, but a matter of survival. Our dream is a greener Carpathian Basin - winter and summer.
