Dr Jordana Ninkov

Dr Jordana Ninkov works at the Soil and Agroecology Laboratory of the Institute of Crop and Vegetable Production in Novi Sad. She is a leading researcher in the field of environment, specialising in soil physics, chemistry and biology. Jordana graduated from the University of Novi Sad in 1997 with a degree in Biology, in 2003 with a Master's degree in Environmental Studies and in 2010 with a PhD in Biotechnology. He has more than 26 years of experience in laboratory analysis and agroecological research. He has been a leader and participant in several scientific and professional projects on soil conservation and soil quality improvement. He has been working as an independent expert in the field of sustainable soil management for more than 15 years. Jordana is author and co-author of more than 250 scientific publications and editor of 10 publications.

In his practical work, he works with farmers to study production characteristics and share his knowledge. It promotes the concepts of "Sustainable Soil Management" and "Soil Health" through its scientific work, media activities and cooperation with NGOs. He has organised and participated in numerous workshops and forums for agricultural professionals, students and the general public.
