Composting expert

For the past 13 years, István has been involved in organic waste recycling (composting) on an industrial scale, trying to "recycle" as much useful material as possible back into the natural cycle, following agricultural and environmental guidelines.

István grew up on a family farm. He later taught agricultural and environmental classes in high school and is currently building his garden soil at home towards bio-intensive self-sufficiency based on organic matter stability (composting).

He is passionate about sustainable agriculture and landscape and water management. It is doing a lot to combat desertification in the Danube-Tisza area.
