Started in 1974 as a small family business (cultivator manufacturer), Bourgault Industries has grown into a world-class company offering a wide range of agricultural machinery, with many unique and innovative developments, an excellent reputation and a global sales network. Today, Bourgault Industries is known primarily for its seeding systems.

In 2021, Bourgault Industries will start operations in the EU with its innovative FMS seeding systems, which combine Bourgault's renowned durability and reliability with compact size, small transport width and exceptional versatility. The Frame Mounted Seeder (FMS) strikes the perfect balance between productivity and ease of use.

Bourgault FMS seeding systems can be used in all soil and climatic conditions, for a variety of tillage techniques, from long-term no-till to ploughing. They also provide excellent results in harsh soil conditions where competing machines cannot sow.

Bourgault FMS seeding systems are available in working widths of 6.0; 8.0; 8.4 and 9.1 metres. All of them (except the 9.1 m machines) are EU certified and have a transport width of less than 3.0 m, allowing them to be towed on public roads. FMS seeding systems are equipped with a frame-mounted, 7200 litre, three-section seed and fertiliser hopper. There are three types of coulters to choose from: PLR and PLW disc coulters and PLX catch coulters. The row spacing is 17,5 cm; 19,1 cm; 25,4 cm; 30 cm for disc-type and 25 cm or 30 cm for grab-type.
