András Máté

Conservation biologist, in addition to nearly 100,000 hectares of vegetation mapping and zoological surveys, and the reconstruction of water management in 10,000 hectares of protected natural areas between the Danube and the Tisza. He has been involved in the development and implementation of pilot schemes prior to the introduction of EU agricultural subsidies in Hungary. He is an expert on several endangered plant and animal species.

Co-owner and co-director of a company that has been successfully producing and selling wild plant propagation kits and agricultural extension services for decades. In the latter activity, he designs and implements plant restorations using the elements of the natural flora to the fullest extent, with a European perspective.

Together with his three fellow farmers, he is engaged in forestry and agriculture on 350 hectares of his own farmland, with the aim of restoring natural resources.
