Institute of Agricultural Economics

The Institute of Agricultural Economics (AKI) has been a key player in the knowledge-based development of the Hungarian agricultural and food economy for 70 years. Since the establishment of our predecessor (the Agricultural Economics Research Institute), the AKI has been operating as a back office of the Ministry of Agriculture, providing data collection, research and decision support activities of public interest for Hungarian agricultural policy and rural development.
